Enjoy a short walk around the beautiful Maxell and Chelsea Gardens in Telford Town Park. Open for the first time since March, the gardens will be dressed to commemorate the 75th anniversary of VJ Day on 15 August, commemorating the end of the Second World War.
The Maxell gardens were created in the style of a Japanese garden to display the gift of Japanese flowering cherry trees, from Telford based Japanese company, Maxell. The Chelsea Gardens, originally designed and built to be exhibited at the Chelsea Flower Show, provide a mix of planting in each individual garden with maples, sensory planting, sculptures, pools and a musical fountain. The gardens are a small oasis of tranquillity suitable to the sentiment of this event.
Where applicable, advertised ticket prices are inclusive of a venue levy, retained by the venue to maintain our programme of arts and entertainment.
