We cannot wait to welcome our brand new panto cast to Telford! We have caught up with one of the stars of the Cinderella and Ex EastEnders actor Tony Discipline who has told us all about his love of panto.

Can you tell us a little bit about your character, Prince Charming?

Prince Charming is a fun-loving character who has everything he could want and more, however he knows he is missing something and that is a good woman he can share his life with. However being a Prince, he doesn't want a partner who only wants him because of this, he wants someone who wants him for him and so his journey begins.

What are you most looking forward to about this year’s production of Cinderella?

There is always a great vibe and spirit an audience brings to Panto, a mixture of festive energy and an excited anticipation for the show. This year the script is fantastic along with a great cast and I just know the audience are in for Panto treat.

Are you looking forward to being his in Telford for the Christmas period?

Yeah I love going to new places and exploring. I am excited to see what Telford has to offer and I will absolutely be going to the Christmas market.

What is your favourite ever pantomime and why?

I’ll be completely honest, I can’t actually decide. Every Panto I’ve watched I’ve absolutely loved so I’ll have to just say all of them.

What do you love most about panto?

For me the best thing about Panto is the energy both in the audience and on the stage. There’s a Christmas feel to the whole thing and that translates in the shows.

What’s the best Christmas present you have ever had?

I am really into cooking and last year I got bought a spice rack, some people may think that’s pretty dull but I was absolutely buzzing about it haha.
